High-touch coaching for those who spent years shrinking to survive — and are done with it.

I've been endorsed by the past president of the American Psychiatric Association and faculty at Harvard Medical School. I testified before Congress. I'm certified in DBT, ABA, and MBT. I've spent 20+ years coaching people through the hardest seasons of their lives.

I say this not to impress you — but so you understand what you're walking into. This isn't coaching-lite. It's a hands-on, creative methodology drawn from CBT, DBT, and adult learning theory — including the proprietary PIRF framework — built around you specifically, not from a script.

What I specialize in:

  • Emotional resilience and regulation (DBT-based)

  • Self-trust and self-validation for overthinkers

  • Highly sensitive people — understanding and working with your nervous system

  • Recovery from narcissistic relationships and emotional neglect

  • Undoing self-abandonment and people-pleasing patterns

  • Anxiety relief through practical, evidence-based tools

  • Career pivots and identity rebuilding for high-achieving creatives

  • Inner stability that doesn't depend on anything outside you

You were meant to be brilliant, and anyone who has told you otherwise is wrong. You just needed a few tools to get you to where you were meant to go.

How it works:

We start with a paid Intensive — a deep-dive session that gives us both a clear picture of where you are, where you're going, and how to get there.

There are no free consultations. If you're here, you already know enough to know whether this is for you.

Coaching options:

The Intensive — $1,000
120 minutes. Standalone or gateway. This is where we build your roadmap. If you chose to continue coaching, you can begin sustained work immediately with an action plan.

3-Month Engagement — $3,000/month
3 sessions/month + async (text and email) support. For clients ready for sustained work after the Intensive.

VIP Two Day Intensive — $6,000
Full-day immersion for high-achieving creatives who need a major shift fast. Better in person (I’m in Austin), but we can do remote if you can’t get away.

Start with the Intensive. Ongoing work is decided together after.

Frequently asked questions:

What is your coaching methodology?
A hands-on, creative approach drawn from CBT, DBT, and adult learning theory — including the proprietary PIRF framework from Control the Future. It's kinesthetic, experiential, and built around you specifically. Not a script. Not a formula.

What is DBT coaching, and how is it different from therapy?
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is an evidence-based method originally developed for people with intense emotions. As a coach, I use DBT skills as practical tools for everyday life: emotional regulation, distress tolerance, effective communication, and building a life worth living. Coaching is not therapy. I am not a therapist. Coaching focuses on where you're going, not diagnosing where you've been.

Who is this for?
Those who spent years shrinking to survive. Overthinkers. People pleasers. Highly sensitive people. High-achieving creatives who feel like strangers to themselves. People recovering from narcissistic relationships or emotional neglect. People who are done feeling overwhelmed and ready for tools that actually work.

Who is this NOT for?
People in active mental health crisis (please seek a licensed therapist). People who want validation without accountability. People who want a cheerleader instead of a thinking partner.

What does a coaching Intensive involve?
A structured, focused session — typically 90 minutes — designed to assess where you are, clarify what you want, and build a roadmap. You'll leave with clarity, tools, and a direction.

Do you offer payment plans?
No — and here's why that's actually the point. One of the first things we do together is problem-solve. When I went through Martha Beck's coach certification, I was asked to figure out how to pay for it before I started. I did. That exercise — working through "I can't afford this" — was the beginning of my transformation. If the investment feels out of reach right now, that's worth exploring in your application. Working through that belief is often exactly the kind of thinking we're here to change.

Do you accept insurance?
No. Life coaching is not therapy and is not a covered medical or clinical service. The same principle applies here as above — if the investment feels impossible, that's the first problem we solve together. You may surprise yourself. I certainly did. And it changed my life.

It’s so important to have communities like this and people who care. Thanks Tami!
